Passenger side wing mirror - glass loose

I don't know if this is normal or not, it's certainly not as secure as the drivers side - vibrates all the time. Is there anything anyone can suggest?
I am currently downloading RAVE will that help even though my FFRR is a 2007?

I already searched and found this but that's not my problem at least i don't think it is.

It's the glass loose in the mirror not the whole assembly. It seems from looking at another article I found on the site that the glass just pulls off so logic says it should just push on - so a firm push might do it. I guess I was looking for some reassurance don't want to break anything I've only had it a few days Embarassed

I took your steer scarey and took it to bits. If it's helpful to anyone else the glass just pulls off forward not what is shown on RAVE for the older models, the bit that it actually mounts to in mine in broken hence the vibration, it's not terminal and nothing can fall off, but as LR would probably want to sell me a complete mirror I'll see what bodging I can do when I get more time.
Thanks

Appologies for reviving a dead thread but does the glass just pull off or do you need special tools? Or need to put the mirror into a certain pos? .... Just picked up an 07sc and noticed the exact same .... Was fluttering on the motorway journey home.

*****Fixed*****

Info for anyone with similar issue:-

Adjust mirror to full right position (or left if drivers mirror) this gives maximum gap for you to get in behind mirror.

Glass and holder is held onto a moving cradle by 4 x clips, if you get a medium sized flat blade screwdriver you can lever the tab out of the clip and the mirror will come off.

I noticed the moving cradle that holds the mirror was cracked in half (presumably from somebody pushing the mirror back on without using the next method - a drop of super-glue in a few places stuck it back together.

Next bit is important, when putting the mirror back on locate the 3 furthest away tabs inside the clips then support the last one (closest to you) with the screwdriver, keep pressure against it by gently levering the screwdriver against the mirror casing then clip the mirror in, wont require much pressure but I feel the cradle was broken by previous owner by not doing this.

Simple job - mirror now rock solid, remember to not use too much glue and to try the mirror position movement to make sure you have not glued it!

Hope this helps anyone with similar issue.
