Finding a template.

It's a long story that I won't bore you with but I need to remove the VOGUE SE badge from the rear of my RR and then clean up the adhesive and re mount the letters in the correct place on the rear boot lid. My problem is I do not have a template for this job and can find none on line. Does anyone have an old one I could purchase or the knowledge how to find one on line.
Thanx in advance for any help. Agueroooooooooo. 93-20

before you remove the letters, make your own template and then use that when you reapply.... ... - .- -.

The problem is the letters are not exactly in the places they should be so making the template myself is a non starter. Agueroooooooooo. 93-20

This may sound daft, but go to a land Rover agents armed with some masking tape, a black pen, a measure and a camera...

Find the right model then tape around the letters on the boot, making sure you tape right & left/up & down to reference points so when you peel it all off in one, you can stick it back onto yours using the same reference points...

Measure from the badge each way and write on the tape the measurements so then you can double check with yours...

Hope that all helps?

Where in Manc are you Pfazz?

are you doing the TDV8 badge as well or just the Vogue Se ones?

Being a 2011 car yours should be covered under warranty unless this is something thats happened outside the LR network? FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

I'm in stalybridge, and no the TDV8 badge is ok. The problem is I bought the car in Epsom and even though it is an SE it came badged as just a vogue. The dealer in got it from assured me that after mid 2011 they only came badged as VOGUE and like a fool I took this as the truth. It has been in to Guy Salmon for some warranty work but when I raised the subject of the missing badges the said badges were not covered under warranty but if I paid for them then they would fit them free which they did. The problem arises because the badges on a VOGUE are stuck on in a different position than they are with a VOGUE SE and Guy Salmon just stuck the SE on the end of the existing VOGUE and even though it's ok I know every time I see the badge it is not quite right and it's bloody annoying so it wil have to be done even if I finish up buying all new letters and template complete. Agueroooooooooo. 93-20

If you buy them new from Dan @ Duckworths, they come with a template ready to stick on...

Seems a shame to throw perfectly good badges away just because of a template but I will order some if I can't sort it. Agueroooooooooo. 93-20
