I was tempted by the prinns one. I just thought about selling all the old reducers, brc etc and whatever else and raise the 250quid that way. But I don't think it's rated for it. Could be wrong.

i swapped my ignition coils between 1-3 and no difference. at 3k rpm the misfire counter just starts to rack em up for cylinder 1. thats both plugs and coil swapped. so could it be injector next? but the weird thing is it doesnt happen at 2k rpm or 4k rpm. just if i hold 3k rpm. heres a lovely graph thanks to the gap tool.

How are you getting on? Did you buy coils? I was thinking g if it were coils it would be running rich as there’s be excess unburnt fuel... Current stable:

No real diff from changing the coils. On an unrelated note I installed new reducer, magic jet 3 power. That thing is good. So my lpg lean problems have gone away as well. I just need to install new injectors and get it calibrated.

Am outta ideas on the misfires, could it be VSR again? But I havent even done 3k miles so who knows. Its only an issue is I hold 3k revs which doesn't really happen too often.

Is it misfiring on both fuels? I can’t remember and through out the revs? I doubt it’s vsr in 3k miles especially if they used hardened seats there are people with 100k plus on here with hardened seats. Also you barely used lpg since it was done.

You could do a compression check for your own sanity that it was done properly as tbh if the compression was low after 3k I’d be taking it back and telling them to fix it Current stable:

both fuels, but only at 2.5/3k rpm. doesnt occur at 2k rpm or 4k rpm. that graph above demonstrates it. i may do a compression check tbh, just to be sure. but if it was Censored i assume itd be misfiring in all rev ranges. this feels like maybe the supercharger? since 3k might be when its spinning up the fastest or something like that?

If you think that why don't you spill the belt off the charger and see if its still there? it won't be the super charger I doubt. Could be the elbow that dirty I'm not sure? I'm sure vsr is constant. maybe worth visiting a specialist if not? Current stable:

another update. so wanted to rule out the misfires, while at the lpg mechanic we did a compression test.

its strong as a bull thankfully, 173psi or around that.

now with Magic Jet POWER III and AC W02 Injectors. This thing pulled well into 110mph and 6000rpm. My issue is now my gas pressure is too high that the lpg system fails. Its actually a sport Sad

Not anymore, 4.4 TDV8 now Very Happy

we limited the vacuum and that seems to of sorted the pressure issue. but we noticed bank 1 injectors had different timings to bank 2.

also now am getting just bank 1 lean codes. it seems lambda sensor is the next replacement but what a ballache it is to get to it. then ill clear adaptions and learn for another 50 miles then remap lpg.

But so far cars running great Smile

I also noticed my bank 1 fuel trims were about 4% higher than bank 2. so lambda sensor is the only culprit left.

edit: also limiting the pressure, not sure how? because lpg works via basically pressure being toned down by reducers and safety valves. but it seems past that point that the actual pipes going to the injectors are swelling. Its actually a sport Sad

i tried to undo the lambda sensors as well and no dice there, stuck as. i think ill need to get a breaker bar in. Its actually a sport Sad

Did you do what I said rag it about for about 20 minutes so the exhausts are pretty much glowing then crack them off? Mine wouldn’t do anything cold Current stable:

edit: thats a lie since its not connected to the engine vacuum directly. either way my old servo wasnt the super charged one so needed doing anwyays. ive replaced it with a OEM supercharged one Its actually a sport Sad
