I have wanted a Range Rover since I was 4 years old. Now 44 years later I am now in a position to buy one. I have watched lots of videos and read lots (this forum included).

That is a stunning looking car, and I love the colour, they're well specked to start with and the steps can be fitted by the dealer as stated above. Enjoy, you'll love it. By the way, the 4.4 is a wolf in sheeps clothing |

Test drive a 5.0L as well before you make a decision. |

Looks a great car, I'm on my third RR all with RSE that I have never used so I personally wouldn't worry about that. I've also just swapped my 5.0L supercharged for a diesel (great decision on my part) I still don't understand the fuss about all this, then again I don't understand the fuss about everything people fuss about on this forum. BUT I would get the dealer to sort out some steps.

Naturally the important part is that you like it. For me the car as configured is a bit too individual; I'm not feeling the colour together with the silver bits on the outside, then have those see through windows to a beige interior with wood inserts and some random black bits. I think come the time to sell it on it could be a challenge.

I would guess fuel economy. I couldn't think of any other reason. |
