Have managed a few miles today, had to go to screwfix for some bits.

Knocking seems to have stoped. Looking at how the ARB was fixed in the old bushes I think that could have been moving side to side a bit and causing the knocking.

Its smoooooth now!! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Had a quick browse on AT.

The red shiny is still there at a few quids under £17k. Looks very nice, would be tempted if I hadnt already owned it.

New black shiny hasn’t moved for a couple of weeks now, other than across the drive!

But I do now have a nice set of electric gates, which I will be able to drive it through when we are allowed!! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Managed a run out on Sunday to do something for my Mum. Nice to drive the 405 for a decent 80 mile round trip.  There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Had a clean today.

Parked it at the side of the house and it got all over by a pigeon.

While at it I put a bit of elbow grease into the gliptone and sponge and did the seats, which means now my hands smell of leather!!  There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Liked the idea of the powerful uk one but was a bit chromey for my liking, and the original one it came with is just the standard atlas surround one, which didn’t look quite right to me given its an AB.

This was on EBay described and a 2018 one, but quite obviously not..... had even posted pics of stickers showing it was a 2016, with the LR part label on. £90. Which I think was fair enough given its an unmarked gen one.

Just waiting to see if I win the LR boot liner now.....

Also ordered a set of rubber mats from Matford LR off of eBay but they are still closed so hopefully they will turn up in a couple of weeks. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

1 x eBay 21” wheel for a spare. Have a tyre so £95 for the rim.
Set of TRW pads for the front and back.

Aparently TRW are now the OEM and are what you get in the LR box..... and are what are on the car at the mo.

Just need some discs now. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

The wheel turned up today.

Looks round and there are no welds. It could do with a proper refurb, no obvious kerbing but it’s been over painted at some point to hide some careless driving.

Not a problem really as it’s only going in as a spare. Still not keen on towing with a space saver, but also if I’m away in the tin tent, or just generally on holibobs with the car I don’t want to be faffed finding a tyre shop. I can just bang the spare on and deal with it when I get home! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
