Loving the car so far.

Only a couple of small issues, the above light is staying off so that is good. There is also a small scratch in the lower tailgate which i missed.

Jobs to do.

Swap rear tyres for scorpion verde.
Get tow bar fitted.
fit dash cam properly.

Started on the dashcam last night but was stymied by the fact the car runs Micro 2 fuses, so when I tried to use the add a fuse from the old car it didn’t fit.

Amazon have happily sold me a correct one for about £4.... so will finish that job when it turns up. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

i got my dash cam plugged into one of the sockets in the back..should do a permanent job but it all works well.. ... - .- -.

ive got it in the one in the arm rest at the moment, but have managed to do the wiring up to the fuse box ready for when the jumper arrives. Took about 5 mins.  There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Been trying to track down an elusive faint knock from the suspension. It’s barely there except over really bad surfaces at low speed.

Does it very occasionally. I’m going to swap out the ARB droplinks first off as they are easy To turn and feel like an easy point to start. I’ve been under there with a pry and all the bushes seem pretty solid. If feels more like something kicking against the transmission tunnel, but again I’ve given the tranny a shake and the exhaust a prod and it all looks Ok.

One thing I did spot was a drop of oil in the bottom of the transfer casing ........ I’ve had this in the past and it’s been a PITA to sort. But it wasn’t there when I picked the car up. So I’m wondering if they changed out the transfer box fluid at the service and the drain wasn’t nipped up fully. Gave it a tweak with an Allen key and it went a 1/4 turn so that may have sorted it.

Not entirely convinced by the grille! Will see if it grows on me. I bought it as the car had the standard grille on it and I fancied something different!!

Looks sleek and smart. The grille or the angle or both made me double take a la 2018MY/ grille. Always liked the silver inserts on the lower bumper grilles 👍🏻

Was looking at the 2018 grille like Stan has on his. It’s a possibility.

Going to do the trans box oil as the washer is still weeping so will want swapping out.
Need to source a boot liner
Going to swap the front discs and pads and rear pads soon they are going to want doing in the next 12 months but it’s a job I am happy to do.

I quite like the grille I’ve got on, but I think i’m going to get one like Stans and see what that looks like.

Have noticed that the upper tailgate needs adjustment too. A nudge to the drivers side. One for the dealer that. Have tried on 322’s to adjust it and it was a real PITA to get it right

Now I’ve got some time on my hands..... going to order a clay bar and some zymol. If only

Now you've jinks'd it Stan...

I like busy. Keeps the mind occupied, luckily I’m able to spanner reasonably well so am happy to have a go. A fairly large too box helps as well!

What doesn’t is the fact my drive is chippings. I woke up yesterday morning Feeling the pain. Lying on chippings is to be avoided.

Was as easy as you said Craig. Took me about and hour and a half, taking my time and working out how to do it with limited room.  There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
