I don’t get why there should be dynamic anything.

The indicators on the Audi’s make me mad..... why, in all that’s holy, if you are going to turn, warn people gradually? It’s like having brake lights that only come on dim to start with, and gradually get brighter.... who’s idea was it to warn people a little bit at a time?

Maybe I’ve missed the point.... but not the opportunity for a rant Rolling with laughter 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

I'm with Mark... find them offensive on a lot of cars, especially when the Censored in front sits for 10 mins waiting for the lights to change with his indicator on in a designated turning lane... Rolling Eyes

Mind you, having watched the video they are quite restrained and subtle..... Pete

They’ve accomplished exactly what they are supposed to do. Got your attention. The fact that they annoy you and you can off the top of your head break it down with which manufacturers have them they got you.

These are actually much brighter especially during the daylight where you can’t really see the OEM. So functionally alone they are better. I don’t really care for the chrome bit in the mirrors anyway.

I actually have a set coming. Ordered a week or so ago. But I’m hip to powerful’s game so I found them for cheaper.

They’ll go well with my updated tech 2020 SVO Autobio tail lights. And if I don’t like them I can switch back. Didn’t cost much 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC

I'm with Mark & Pete - they are silly, distracting & look like they should be on a boy racers car. They simply do not stand out in a distance.

Unfortunately starting to appear on HGV's too - a vehicle that should put safety & functionality well above styling & faddish accessories. 2003 Range Rover Vogue TD6

They stand out more in a distance. Look at the video.

It’s the latest tech (just like LED headlamps) so learn to like it....it will become commonplace 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC

I was discussing this with Simon from Powerfuluk a week or so ago! Theirs doesn't!!! Direct the light to the rear corner of the light...
The point of the mirror based light on all models is to alert vehicles overtaking on duel carriageways when you (as the overtaking vehicle) have passed the view point of the back light, you are alerted by the side repeater in the mirror... Hence why the light is directed rearward NOT sideways! AND... This is why you don't see the mirror lights from the front of the car...

SO, be careful what you buy! Whistle Whistle Whistle

These have the flat section o the edge which is the section that faces toward the rear of the car to alert cars passing buy. So it should point light back just like OEM as long as the LED goes all the way back/some light is directed back. These flash at the same rate as OEM, any dynamic signal does it’s just that each portion is delayed for a split second from the previous to make it look like it’s moving. If you tape off the entire thing but leave a section an inch or so wide you’ll see it flashes the same rate

I’ll have them in a week or so I’d imagine so we’ll see what we get 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC

That’s it Stan... put your hazard lights on and stand behind your car in an overtaking position and it will become very clear... 👍

Having read that - I'm assuming that this is a modification that would need to be reported to your insurance company.....

The probability of an accident AND and investigation is likely low, but you never know.....
