Hi everyone,

Just bought my first RR today - upgraded from a 2012 FL2 which I owned for 3 years and I loved. Super reliable but was getting a bit old and tatty.

This is the one I bought

I am not a full fat owners yet but in the market for an L322, hopefully getting close to pulling the trigger, and just joined the Forum.

Look forward to participating here, I am sure I will have plenty of questions and look forward to all of your guidance.

Hi Folks,

Registered on the forum a while back but hadn’t decided what I wanted to do. Finally decided to take the plunge and get myself a 4.2 SC on a 2007 in Metallic Silver. Not sure what the paint code is as this is my first step in to the world of LR, previously all my cars with either Audi, BMW or MB.

Last owner had it 10 years, so it came with fantastic history.

Looking forward to enjoying it, and learning and sharing the experience.  - 2007 4.2 SC
- 2007 BMW 650i

Howdy

A great forum. Ive looked in as a guest and found it to be really helpful now that I’ve started researching for a new car. My shortlist is L322, post-2009 facelift. Consensus seems to be 4.4 over 3.6 diesel. Nowt wrong with an SC petrol of course.

Anyhow, hello everyone. Really appreciate the helpful and informative contributions that are helping me in my research. I hope to one day be able to make some of my own once a purchase has been made.

Morning all

I have decided I can't go on any longer without a Full Fat RR(L322) in my life. I'v been messing about with an old Series 3 88" for a couple of years (see the photo) and having spent some time in a mates L320 as well, its time I had one.

As most recent, low owner 3.6TV8 or 4.4TDV8 as possible are the choices I've made. I am tempted by a supercharged engine but I just can't face the fuel economy! Unless you can change my mind....

Great forum and I'm looking forward to reading more. Anyone from Hampshire on here? Specifically nearish to Winchester/ Southampton?

Ben

That’s easy Ben, grab a pen & paper then jot down your expected mileage per year, work out the cost of projected fuel & that’s your fuel cost sorted.
Next line write the following .......”do I want petrol or diesel?”
Next line is your answer.......simples eh? 😂🤪 2012 Orkney Grey Westminster 4.4TDV8 with Ivory interior.........nice!

Approx 8k a year mileage - average 500 miles a month in my old 318 BMW, that works out about £65 to £70 in fuel. Not really too bothered about it really, just trying to find ways to not make myself buy a supercharged FFRR!! haha

Cheers Fox889!

Hi All,

I’m Stephen and have been a member of the Disco 3/4 forum for a number of years, with my disco 3. This disco provided five absolute great years of service, and a lot of brilliant family memories created during this time. Eventually with my contract abroad, and we all know these cars must be used regularly, with regret I sold the disco to another forum member to enjoy.
So with my UAE contract coming to an end, I am now searching for my dream car, a black (Possibly 2nd choice grey) L405..........vogue se or autobiography version Thumbs Up

Cheers Thumbs Up

Stephen.
