Turkey

Hi all. I'm Taskin from Turkey - Istanbul.
Currently I have a D2 Td5. Previosuly I had Defender 110 300Tdi.
I'm thinking of selling D2 and buying L322 4.2 Supercharged instead, but I am confused because I don't know much about Range Rovers. I am sure I will find help and correct advise here.

Callie's Range Rover

Hello all my name is Callie,

I have owned & driven Range Rovers for the last the last 30 years. It would be fair to say I love them.

My current Range Rover I've owned for 13 years is now in need of a new home (reluctant sale). Crying or Very sad

This car has low mileage and is still in nice condition, would it still have a value or should I sell it for spares or repairs. It's not currently MOT'd and I'm wondering if it's worth putting it through the MOT or not?

It's a 4.4 V8 Petrol it's done 87,000 miles. It had 56,000 miles when I bought it 13 years ago.

Any advice would be gratefully received. Smile

Thank you.

I would certainly put it through an MOT, if it passes great news, if not, then that's for the potential new owner to decide if it's worth doing.
In my experience, 'anything sells' especially Range Rovers, whether it's an old girl or a modern day dream.........someone somewhere will always want one. You'll be surprised at the amount of interest, low miles, last owner 13 years.........it's a no brainer!
Let us all know on here how you/she gets on please...........we're a nosey lot! Laughing 2012 Orkney Grey Westminster 4.4TDV8 with Ivory interior.........nice!

Hi all, just joined today. I’m looking at a 08 /09 ish 4.4 or possibly 4.2 SC ( maybe newer, lets see where used car values are in a month or so ) as the new dog & shooting wagon.
Been running X5s for last couple of years as company cars (in previous job had many Vogues so know the product well enough from there) but that idea is becoming less and less viable all the time so will get a leased something for commuting and the RR for weekends.
Really want light interior & wood so may be difficult although the wood trim looks a straightforward change and I’ve got a pioneer double din head unit waiting to go.

Will keep you up to date with search progress
Dave
Will let you know how search goes
