We bought our 3.6 in Feb last year and it had been remapped including digital EGR delete. We didn’t know this at the time and so I bought blanking plates and fitted them. I didn’t notice any difference doing this so the digital delete must’ve been doing it’s job.

A remap doesn't add much at all to initial acceleration, it can't spool the turbos up any quicker, as soon as you are up a few hundred revs it will start to pull better... Our local Quantum guy will let you try it for a while and if you don't like it they will fully refund you and return it to original, they don't get many who take this offer up..!! Andy, There are remaps and remaps, some are awful, some are excellent, yours can be done again and the issues fixed, just find a good local installer, Facebook is a good place to look and you get proper user reviews... Consensus is to put the blanks in to reduce risk of turbos ingesting anything. Peace of mind. Then remap it. Alive Tuning and Bell Auto Services are some of the best around I've been told Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"
