Front mudflaps drilling?

Hi,

Does anyone know if fitting front mudflaps on a 2011 RR Vogue requires drilling?

I cant find the fitting instructions anywhere online. I know the rears need drilling but again, cant find anything on the fronts.

They changed the mudflaps after 2006 so anyone with a later car, would be great to get feedback.

Should also specify that this concerns mudflaps CAS500060PMA for car without exterior design pack.

Thanks! RR Vogue 4.4 TDV8 - 11

Fox889 you would be correct. RRYorks was kind enough to send me a pdf.

The simple answer is YES & NO! If a dealer fits them then yes they will drill the bodywork BUT! You don't need to drill the bodywork! The holes in the sides are for them that seriously use their RR's off road! The side bolts simply help you NOT to rip the things off!

They can be fitted using double sided tape on the sides instead of the outer bolts! This way you DONT have holes drilled into your pride and joy! There are bolts and clips down the inside edge of the flaps that more than hold them on securely for "normal" use!

Also helps when selling the car on... If the buyer like me, hates mudflaps! Thumbs Up

@ CTC; thanks! Since mine are already fitted by a previous owner I´m going to guess they were drilled. Will have a look once car is back from garage.

The reason for my question is that I now want to fit the fixed sidesteps with integrated mudflaps and want to know if the these will cover, or even better, use the same holes as the ones that are there now....

@Anvil & Stan; the Guide in the wiki is for older cars. I have the pdf that RRYorks was kind to send, can I upload it somewhere and you could add it to the wiki? RR Vogue 4.4 TDV8 - 11

Mine's an 06, so the wiki suits thanks J-O. I had some delivered the other day and I've fitted them, but they came with BMW 7-series fitting instructions for some reason..... Just wanted to make sure I did it correctly. -Turns out I did!
