Looking for a nice hotel, preferably in a countryside setting, in lower Scotland as a stopoff on the way up to Scourie for a Lads fishing trip.

as said on another post - Ballathie House Hotel just north of Perth or you could try Kinnaird House (Connie Ward) - used to be superb food but i'm going back a few years Farleyer House - ditto but i'm out of date these days where are you fishing at Scourie? Michelin - Peat Inn used to be? Last edited by nick h on 16th Mar 2011 1:26pm. Edited 1 time in total |

Further south is Cally Palace at gatehouse of Fleet which may be a bit off your route.

Murrayshall House Hotel and Broomhall Castle are both nice. Murrayshall is just a few miles outside Perth (Scone way) and Broomhall is just outside Stirling. |
