site running slow?

until a few minutes ago it was taking over 30 seconds to load each page

thinking i'd effed things up i went to a friends house and tried his pc with the same result

It was happening to me on my laptop, I restarted it and works fine now. It was dong the same for Facebook and DW but alls good now., but that was probably to do with my wifi.

It was loading slowly as the sponsor banners were being loaded from DISCO3, which has been knocked out by a server power failure.

I've temporarily removed the banners, restoring the site speed
