If I put new wheels on without tpms and my old wheels had tpms would it show an error? |

No idea as not MOT’d it. I only know about the warning as I have two sets of wheels and tyres. Would have thought it was likely to cause a fail though - May depend on your examiner though.... 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17 |

Any car registered after 1st January 2012 that is fitted with TPMS will fail its MOT if the TPMS warning light is displayed.

As much as I don’t care for the tpms. I don’t think I would want to live with a warning light on all the time.

Does the car definitely have TPMS ? If you lower a pressure you get a warning on the dash ?

Alistair. Yes the car definitely has it. I did a bit of research yesterday and it seems you can’t disable the tpms with a IID tool.

I was able to disable TMPS with IID on my L322 but suspect you can't on later L405's.

Ok so it seems I’ve got to stick with tpms as don’t want a light up and apparently 13 or later cars can’t be disabled.

GAP do provide a un-tested ccf list on request and i'm not 100% sure but you might be able to switch it off with that.. ... - .- -.
