So todays update with Taggarts Landrover is they are suggesting they dont have the call recordings from the Thursday the 5th, only my calls from Friday 6th and Sat 7th.

Any thoughts?

Ive requested an itemised bill from EE for that billing month for my number to see when exactly I called them.

What a total shambles!!!

"Good Afternoon Mr Ingram

This is the very first call we have recorded? We have no calls incoming or outgoing to or from your number before this.

I have attached the additional call also required for your records…"

That is the last email..... all smug in my new plug!

I don't care if the people at the dealer smile at me, I'm not looking for a new best friend. I've never had any issue going in, negotiating my price and being on my way. Same with the service end of things. That's just me though...

I'd bet they'd find the calls if the tables were turned!

I take it that you make them aware that the calls are being recorded in advance? 😳

On reading your original post that seems an extortionate figure for a pair of front hubs....

Anyhow, hope you get it sorted out.

The lack of giving a Censored is prevalent in every business/service now, and frankly
It’s just not good enough. But that’s the way it is and while bosses keep employing morons to deal with the general public it will continue. It’s the lack of willingness to do manual jobs in this country which is diverting the grunts of this world to customer facing office jobs when really they should be out there digging holes...... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I hope so too.

All in all cant disagree with any of your last bit. I just dont understand why is it some people care about customers and others dont seem to.....maybe its just how . they convey the message, as they constantly have call recording systems telling us how much they do....maybe they should employ the voicepver guy to run their business!! So as a few have asked what am I going to consider next....heres the list and a bit of a stats list on the front runners:

1. Cayenne Turbo [S E-hybrid maybe]
2. G63 - 2019 onwards
3. Bentayga - would be 2020 car not current

and maybe

4. Urus (seems a ridiculous price tho)
5. RSQ8 (was considering SQ7 but it seems diesel only)

I was looking at SVA Dynamic P565. was at the top....now at the bottom of my list!!

Things I want:
Petrol only.
Apple Car Play
Soft Close doors (G wagen aside)
Towing 3.5T

all smug in my new plug!
