Xenon Upgrades?

The Xenons (non adaptive) in my MY2017 SDV8 AB are less than impressive. My last L322 Westminster had far more powerful lights.

Are there any aftermarket bulb upgrades that anybodycould recommend??

Thx 2017 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography

I’ve just put Osram night breakers in mine, certainly seems slightly brighter. Issue is there isn’t a separate high beam lamp, that’s why they are less than great vs the 322, until you get to the super fandango matrix ones. CRAIG has fitted a light bar behind the grille, seems to be the least expensive option over a full front end upgrade.

I changed mine for Nightbreakers as well, not cheap and not terribly easy to fit, but a definite improvement Very Happy

I’ve been looking into lighting options as i live rural down single track roads with kamikaze deer.
Still have my Lazer Grille with ST4’s from my old Defender and i’m considering getting a grille and playing with a 3d printer to mount the ST4’s in it for the winter.
I had seen that Craig had mounted one behind the grille but was concerned you’d lose a lot of the available light being blocked by the grille.
I was also looking at replacing the bulbs as well as Xenon’s aren’t for life and they do deteriorate over the years.

Ive used osram nightbreakers in all my cars over the last 5 or so years.. They are a massive improvement for any xenon bulb for sure in terms of light on the road and visibillity. Regards

osram and philips have bulbs that claim to have extra 30-50% more brightness and many have confirmed this...

you can also buy 6000k temperature bulbs which give a whiter light and the illusion that they seem more brighter but technically they are not ..

one little trick i also do is to adjust the beams very slightly higher so they cover further on the road..
its best not to adjust to much cos oncoming traffic will be flashing you all the time.. ... - .- -.

I found these bulbs on Amazon - seems to be a good deal:

I think I'll give them a go - got to be better than what is currently fitted.....! 2017 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography
