Following Axles comment above...... Shocked

I've just received an invitation to attend a course following 35 in a 30 north of Brampton, Carlisle.

Being Self employed, I'd like to tell them to poke it and take the points, but there are some valid observations on the previous page about taking it on the chin and getting on and doing it.

Take care if you're out that way. Audi A6 3.0 Allroad Quattro

The main benefit is that you keep the points off your licence and as such keep your insurance premium down.

The day was rather tedious, but overall, it wasn't as bad as I feared.

When I did mine, I slightly misjudged the time it would take me to get there, so ended up getting there pretty rapidly and pulling up in a cloud of tyre smoke! Rolling with laughter

I would love to say that I emerged a chastened and born again driver and immediately signed up to 'Brake', however as pointed out, most of the 'propaganda' they employ is deeply flawed, so it kind of makes you think that it's just a load of b Censored ks.

It's a shame, wasted opportunity really, a little drivers ed would probably do most people some good, if it was relevant and delivered in a professional way. As stated above, if you're gonna try to teach something, you should believe it, and be prepared to back it up! Range Rover-less at the moment - Pining!

Agreed, would be more to the point if they said: "we'd rather you didn't speed, but if you must, here's how to do it in a safer way"

Lesson 1: Don't do it in a Corsa
Lesson 2: When it all goes wrong - keep your eyes open.

When it all goes wrong you could always cross your fingers and close your eyes. Then when you open them, wish that it wasn't you that ended a life prematurely.
Harsh but true............ Ian

How tedious.

All I can say really is, please get the hell out of my way on the motorway when I want to do 80 and you're sat in the outside lane at 70 causing a mile long tailback. Rolling Eyes
