Awaiting delivery of the SRS module , so , seeing as we have had a couple of dry days decided to the the battery disconnect and check terminal and crimp connections. Nothing obvious so reconnected and ensured all connections nice and tight. Started the vehicle up and reset everything plus cleared all faults with the GAP unit and all happy |

Literally just finished removing the airbag ECU from my 2012 due to it being locked out after two airbag deployments from a minor front end accident.

I posted recently about the trouble I had getting mine through the last MOT, the airbag warning light came on whilst in the garage getting some work done. They are paying to sort it out and mentioned having to dismantle the centre console and what a pain it is, must say I’ve done it a couple of times and didn’t find it too difficult. Do you mind if I ask how much the srs ecu ? |

The price depends where you buy it:

I’m glad it’s the garage who will pick up the bill, if they weren’t then I’d go with option 3 too. Thanks for the advice well worth knowing. |

Personally I'd go with a new module - they are 'locked' not just to preserve telematics but also as the pyrotechnic trigger circuits are built to be a 'one shot' guaranteed output, they are not designed for a second use.
