I too have spotted this one on Auto Trader, bozmandb9. I might have a look at it this weekend as it is not too far from where I live. I like the exterior colour. The interior colour gives it a classy feel though I don't know how it will fair with two small children! Not sure if I like the wheels, I've seen better 19" versions. My kids will love the RSE which is a real bonus and the sidesteps means it will be easier for everyone to get in and out of. Might be worth asking if the extended warranty is an official LR Approved Warranty (for cars up to 5 years old with no more than 75K on the clock). |

Bought it then we had a chance to buy this house which was never in the plan but we went for it anyway. House needs renovation and extending so s/c to go until we've completed works then we'll look to a 2yo model in 2013/2014 neither of us want anything else Also means u have both the original 20s plus spare 19s to get rid of depending on the deal I do with whoever buys mine. If quick I think they can still extend my LR warranty too but need to look in to that on Monday as I'm not sure... |

i own a 4.4 V8 so the first question is slightly redundant? why should the s/c handle better? the limitations are the air suspension system imo - and the view of a fair number of performance tuners but each to their own - if we all agreed life would be boring as regards spec for the s/c against the vogue -mine might be different as it has all 'the bells and whistles' inc FBH/Rear entertainment etc etc - non of which appeal to me |

Nick, that's a bit ridiculous, sorry I meant have you driven an S/C, but i just assumed you would know what the S/C has vastly different suspension and handling compared to the standard V8, which is why it just does handle better and corner flatter, fact, drive one and it'll be immediately obvious. Not sure exactly what they did to stiffen it up, but it certainly worked. Not quite as good as the 2010 models which lose almost all of the body lean round corners, but certainly better than the pre facelift suspension.

[As for the spec, I enjoy the bells and whistles, so do my kids, they complete the perfect package for me, if you have them and didn't want them then you probably overpaid for what you needed!]

calm down please my comments are tongue firmly in cheek actually i've driven supercharged in both FF and Sport - and yes great in a straight line but the laws of physics restrict you when it comes to undulating, twisty country roads as for gas may i direct you to a post you made on pistonheads on 28 Feb when a guy with a budget of £55K was asking for which car to buy and you replied '... if i was you buying now with your budget it would have to be a diesel...' anyway, enjoy your car - i'm happy for you don't read too much into what i sometimes post - love playing devils advocate |

not stalking anyone the landrover section on pistonheads is a fairly small 'clique' now one 'big' 4x4 you can drive fast into corners is the Cayenne Turbo - what a stunning car but the FFRR beats it in so many other aspects - not least offroad - imo of course ref driving FFRR's fast into corners .... we agree as something of an aside the Jeep SRT8 was even quicker in a straight line than the Cayenne Turbo! |

I had a Cayenne before and I can confirm it does handle corners pretty well... at the expense of comfort.
