Fuchs here in a 3.6 and a TD5 defender, my old man used it allot in big commercial & marine engines and really rated the company etc. It’s changed every 8k but no problems, I buy it in big containers enough for a few services. |

Fuchs for me - we have a local Lubricants company which does free local delivery - their main brand is Fuchs so I get all our plant and tractor fluids as well - all Fuchs. Current Fleet:-

The stuff thats cheaper (not cheapest !) and many garages seem to favour. As I thought though, everyone has thier preferences... |

I use Mobil 1 ESP 5W-30, bay it in bulk /60L drums/ at 5 pounds per liter.

Thanks for the feedback folks, it really helps. If there had been a unison cry of "use bloggins oils!" then I'd have gone with the common concent, likewise no one said "avoid bloggins oils at all costs!" I'll be using the middle of the road suggestions and changing it every 6k or so. Once I've done the first vacuum change it should be a doddle after that :¬) Karl |
