valve seat regression - its since ford took over the engines apparently and used much softer metal for the valve seats compared to the Bmw counterparts.

I remember reading somewhere that JE Engineering replace the valve seats with hardened ones so that you can run LPG without any issues.

yes I read that too but I've also read if you have a good clean base car ad its set up right there are people on here with 70k plus on lpg no issues Current stable:

apparently if you remove the oil cap while idle running the engine should die if its working correctly - mine doesn't seem to - it would be good for someone with well running one to try and hear if this is indeed the case! Current stable:

Good question - the place mines at said that it would introduce unmetered air past the airflow meter and cause it to stop - if you have vsr the it can get in out the valves or something like that apparently...
