They are cast aluminium alloy, not coloured from factory.

Cheers Mike, I'll just clean them up then. Thanks for the tip re. the retaining pins, the supplying dealer just fitted new front pads so they should be ok for a bit, I'll do them when I clean up the callipers.

Check its had the oil cooler gasket done. Most of them need doing at some time before 90K Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

just clean them well and coat with some NANO coating and they will stay clean for a long time.

Many thanks for all the helpful responses. It’s had the oil cooler replaced less than 500 miles ago and at the same time had the main turbo replaced. Also, quite right, it’s Stornaway. Thanks again to all. Drives:
