good info unfortunately it's not the tensioner that's at fault on mine. it's the idler pulley above the alternator next to the fan drive |

My squeak was the tensioner.... Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

Mine also turned out to be the tensioner but rather than risk doing the job twice I changed both belts, idler & tensioner while I had it in bits |

the biggest thing is I cant see how you remove the metal coolant pipe without having to pull the rad |

I think you'll find the metal pipe will be the AC line and ISTR it can be moved to allow the fan and shroud removal.
