when you cleared faults, what faults came back on diagnostics , just misfire 1 and 2 ?

Cheers holiday that would be a relief if it's not valley .looking at the state of the sensors in pics I think I will give mine a clean see if it helps multiple persistent misfires cly 1 /2 cam shaft timing over advanced although this goes away when coils changed or plugs .She was running well last night will see what happens in the morning.not getting a lot of sleep at the moment with the pain etc hence early morning message.thanks again Richard |

Oh and what I ment is plug hole with plug still in I squeezed a small sponge down the side of the plug and let it soak a while the dried it on a cloth the result was a reddish pink fluid hence the worry of anti freeze.cant see where it can be coming from unless it is oil |

Check if it is the same colour as your oil from inside the filler cap, also check the crankshaft sensor.

Hi cleaned camshaft sensors {they were pretty mucky}fired her up and she ran perfect no rattles on start up firing all cylinders.vanos never been disturbed by me at least .Going to Greenock today so that will test her fingers crossed,☺️ |

Ok whatever I did it seems to have worked not a blip from her running better than ever super quite and responsive happy again.at the moment anyway!! |
