United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Westminster TDV8 Zermatt Silver

I had an S2000 for a few weeks before realising it was an import. The garage happily took it back and returned the Audi TT we part ex'd and a cheque for the difference but by that time I was hooked on the Honda.

Noisy, cramped, incredible gear shift, bonkers engine - bloody loved it and so wish we'd got another especially since prices have only gone one way.

 Current: FF Westminster money pit

Gone:
RRS 4.2 SC
RRS 3.6 TDV8
FL2 TD4

It has to be a Landrover…..

J reg 200 TDi 3 door 300,000 miles on the original engine, towing trailers across Europe down to minus 30.

Amazingly reliable. Never broke down in 300,000 miles, and basically all it had was oil changes.

Built like the first Range Rovers, an affordable off road utility vehicle with modern (ish!) comfort.

Shame that design philosophy changed.

If I won the lottery, I would have a new one built from scratch.

Best wishes
Glen Previously......
Series 1 80, Series 3 88, Turbo 90, 300tdi 90, 110's with 200, 300, TD5
TD5 Disco, Disco 3, 200Tdi Disco - probably the best vehicle Landrover ever made,
Now 3x FFRR, some would say I should have learned by now......

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Cairns Blue

Two actually!

First one was my Triumph Spitfire Mk4 that I bought when I got £800 compensation for a karting accident back in '74 when I was hit by a kart while marshalling at Aintree!

Had the Spitfire for quite a few years then stupidly p/exed it for a Marina T/C Big Cry

Second one was a Sierra XR 4x4 but that had to go as we were showing Rottweilers at the time and it wasn't quite suitable, then got a Granada 2.8i Ghia X estate, then started on the Range Rovers!!

(Also had a couple of Alfa Sud Ti's)

I don't seem to be able to part with any of mine. Should thin them out really, but which to go?!
I also have a Land Rover 90, so four in total! Smile

Canada 2008 Range Rover HSE 4.4 V8 Java Black

Well, not MY car exactly, but the first family car I remember. A VW Type 4 “411”.

I just googled a photo. Looks like this one. It seems it wasn’t a popular car and I never see them around anymore. It was nice, comfy, reliable and Mom and us kids loved it. Dad finally got rid of it due to worries about rust. Many fond memories of it on the school run.
