I'm in Sussex but my Sat Nav thinks I'm in Manchester!

My local Land Rover Main Dealer recently replaced the rear interior trim panel which sits central at the top of the tailgate, with the the rear brake light behind it. The car is an L322, 2007, 4.4 Petrol Vogue. I replaced this trim panel as it was cracked.

Now my Sat Nav worked perfectly before this...... I don't use the system ofter but recently checked it and now it thinks I'm in Manchester, when I'm actually in Sussex! it's not correcting itself either, despite removing disc, etc.

Is the GPS sensor (don't know what the correct term is) located in this area near the back of the cars roof car and is it likely the garage have damaged it when replacing the trim, or am I just been paranoid and it's an unfortunate coincidence?

Many thanks

That's great, thanks for that SKOT - I doubt it's anything to do with the main dealer then, as it's too far removed from the upper rear tailgate trim panel I had replaced.

Will look to replace the antenna

Thanks again

Allister

Just about to say, the GPS antenna is on the roof on an 07 model.

Nothing to say the dealers haven't disturbed it though so it may be worth pulling the headlining down at the back and having a look.
