Timpsons did mine - about a year ago - you need to be nice to the guy!! If it's a definite no then can you not just swap over the innards? |

If you are really clever it's surprisingly easy to remove the metal key from your old keyfob, remove the metal blank from your replacement key and then refit your old key into the new fob. Saves a great deal of money. |

How can you remove the blade? Mine seems to be moulded into one half of the key? Previously......

I cut mine out with a craft knife but now I know how they are fitted I would drill it out nextime.

I ditched the old keys from my 2003 L322 and upgraded to these "flip" keys.

Interesting, but I was under the impression that this type of upgrade to the flip-style couldn't be done for the 2007 models
