I liked the chunkyness of the Defender, but I’ve got a feeling the new one isn’t gonna be chunky or even squared off. Probably won’t look as good as it does in these pics.

A little bit fast Jim, you haven’t seen one built on a production line yet- I know some people have issues about the FFRR, but mine is absolutely perfect as were the previous ones....although I agree they are getting a bit pricey! Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc He who dies with the most toys wins... |

Bill, go on any of the Land Rover forums and you will see a very common theme that links all their vehicles. That theme is unreliability, poor quality control and poor customer support when things go wrong.

Daft question, but why are you on a RR/LR forum then if they are that shocking - perhaps a Lada would suffice ? 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17 |

Have to say the online negativity about this is just depressing. |

Also, remember that it’s very easy to spend £40k on a twin cab pickup, a basic Wrangler is £42k; a G63 is £145k.

I’m on this site as the last time I checked it was a free country and, as a Land Rover owner, I am entitled to my opinion.

Looks a lot like the D3/D4. Not sure how that will work out as there are plenty of used D3/D4s to buy out there. |

Free country or not, surely it's a bit early to assume shocking build quality, numerous design faults etc, I'll be interested to see what it looks like, I'm out for a different reason as I prefer the luxury of a Range Rover, but as I said I'll be interested to see it. Geoff |

It’s the most encouraging design I’ve seen from Land Rover since the D3 of 2004 ish |
