I use this in my 02 Vogue. Works like a charm.

Interesting thread this, I download Spotify and other stuff to my iphone6 but can only play this back via the aux port and control is obviously on the phone. My MY2010 has the connector in the cubby box, in fact I play an old iPod through it, am I right in assuming that with the Bovee 1000 I can connect the iPhone 6 through BT and control it through the steering wheel? Geoff

@supershuttle........I had the same issue on my 2010. The connection in the cubby box is for an older iPhone/ipod so I bought a GENUINE APPLE MD824ZM/A LIGHTNING TO 30-PIN ADAPTER FOR IPHONE/IPAD/IPOD - this allows you to use the steering wheel controls and the touchscreen.
it needs to be the original Apple lead - i tried a cheaper eBay one but it didn't work properly. 2017 4.4 TDV8 Autobiography

Coolio thanks, I assume that the phone charges when connected as well? I did have a problem with the cubby box connection and cheaper leads - iPhone6 didn't play along so what you say makes sense. You're absolutely right my ancient iPod plays and charges just fine. I assume I still need the Bovee1000 or can I get away with just the lead? Geoff

I didn't know that using a Lightening to 30-pin adaptor would give you track skip & volume controls. If it charges it may be quite a slow charge. Let us know how you get on Geoff.

Bovee works great if you don't have any luck with the adaptor.

. Cheers, Greg

I've got a birthday in January and there's nothing I like more than a gadget. So if the cable alone doesn't work I'll get the Bovee,

In any event I'll keep you posted here Thumbs Up Geoff

Got the cable today. hooked it up to my iphone 6 and it works perfectly. Only one snag I can see so far that when playing Spotify downloads you can only move forward with the steering wheel controls. I'm not sure yet if it charges but the audio plays fine and there are no error messages. While I was messing I took a phone call as well also no problem. So this forum saved me the cost of a Bovee. -- Cheers Thumbs Up Geoff

At the moment everything works except the charging and the controls on the steering wheel only allow you to move forward. Also it doesn’t see Spotify playlists but if you set one playing from the phone you get all the info on the display, oh you can also move backwards using the display. Geoff

I have a 2005 vogue se. I take it this doesn’t have an iPod connection in my RR and need to use the Aux socket?
