Standard on the L405 are 275 40 22 or apparently 285 40 22 on some cars, so they should fit no problem |

I’ve got 285/40/22 on my L322 and have no issues on 9.5” wheels with a 45 offset |

Loads of people running L405 wheels & tyres on L322’s You may be able to go slightly bigger, but standard L405 tyres are definitely OK |

A safe option would be 285/40R22. I prefer a wider tire and have had good results with both 305/35R22 and 305/40R22 |

I was trying to go up as many profiles as I could get away with as I know they are prone to cracking Current stable:

I too was worried about cracking, hence why I went for 40 profile tyres.

I’ve just bought a TDV8 with Hawke Chaytons. Mine have 285/35x22 and I was wondering what improvement a 40 series tyre would make as well.

Aftermarket 22's are sometimes made in two offsets! One for the 322 and another for a 320 (sport) they both fit on the 322 but the 320 wheels sit further out!

Using tyre rolling radius calculations 285/35/22 is the incorrect profile and gives a higher speedo error in relation to the standard land rover wheel and tyre combination.

I’ve got 285 40 22 tyres on my 22” Diaco 5 wheels (9.5”) and the ride is fine. |

I had a wobble on the steering around 50-70. A bit like an unbalanced wheel.
