Is there not an allen key hole in the top of the shaft?

I can’t find the answer in the WM, but 90Nm is pretty tight, so it surely locks with a peg or similar?

There is an allen key hole on top of the shaft but the problem is then getting a socket on. |

Use a ring spanner to hold the nut and a torque wrench on a hex socket. |

Don't think the hex would be able to take 90Nm of force it would strip the corners off. |

I've loosened then re-tightened mine with a ring spanner and an Allen key, checking that the nuts were tight. |
