My 2008 / MY2009 car came fitted with later 2010-2012 rear lights
Issues: On every start up, on first use of indicators, both sides, they flash really quickly then settle down. Subsequent use is normal With lights on, I get intermittent faults on the message centre to "check tail light", "check rear side light". iiDTool is registering faults with both rear indicators. Have had a rear sidelight off, seems I have standard connectors, no interference or additions. Resolution: Guessing I need some ballast resistors / other kit to over come all of this. What is it that I need ? {EDIT} - adjusted to reflect correct lights as per stan's post below . Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember ![]() Volvo V70 P2 2006 2.4 Petrol 170bhp Estate SE MG Midget Mk1 1962 Previous: L322 Range Rover TDV8 3.6 2008; L322 Range Rover TD6 3.0 2002; P38A Range Rover V8 1999 Last edited by Joe90 on 11th Aug 2018 3:56pm. I figured if you turned off what hot and cold monitoring you could, you might be left with less issues to resolve....

Got wife and son to stand front and rear whilst I switched on and ran through light sequences.
