Folks,

I have recently fitted General Grabber AT3's to my 2012 4.4 TDV8. I am running the pressures as per the manufacturers sticker at 33psi front and 36psi rear. My intention is to vary the pressures and see what effect it has regarding ride/handling etc until I find a setting that suits.

I've searched the forum but not found any posts relating to the same topic. If anyone has this tyre fitted please drop me a reply with the pressures you're running please.

Have covered about 400 miles or so since the tyres were fitted. My speedo is more accurate than it was before! With 255 50's its was always 2mph faster then my GPS indicated (30=32mph), I trust my GPS more! The ride is definitely better. I have not adjusted the pressures yet 33psi front & 36psi rear. Will update again in a week or two.

I run these on 36 front and 38 rear, no issues so far, not sure how much difference a few PSI makes!

Just put a new set of wheels with some Grabbers on - love the look and the feel inc the not appreciably greater noise on first drive

Have them at 33 36 but will experiment as we go

Thinking about getting the Grabbers for my L322

Are they ok in snow and ice? And the road?

Same tyres, 42psi all round.

Not sure about snow, but not brilliant on a dry road. Where ok in light mud though. Remember:- amateurs built the ark

@42 psi there is no wonder - you are over inflating unless you are running at max gvw, I did around 80k on generals in an L322 and light load pressures are more than ample - they have very stiff sidewalls 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17

As above chap. I run mine 34 psi all round and are great on wet, dry roads , mud. On snow they are way better than a road tyre but not as good as dedicated winter tyres.
42 is too much and why they wont grip and the centre of them will wear faster. 2007 Vogue TDV8 in Zermatt Silver with Charcoal
