Thanks Greg , reading through that it would appear that a 275 45 gives an almost identical sidewall to a 255 50 but are slightly wider. Sounds like they maybe what I'm after.

That was my concern although I'm worried about ride quality rather than anything else.

I have 275's on mine (car came with them). Don't like them, but can only compare them with my 19" winter wheels which have a better ride and are quieter. The quality of the tyre also makes a difference and the 275's are cheap brand.

Mine was delivered with 255 55 20 Goodyear Eagle F1 SUV's.

indeed they will be slightly more comfortable but also the speedometer will be more true.. ... - .- -.

Yes 275/45/20 will be fine 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17 |

P275/45R20 will be very, very close to OEM spec P255/50R20. Rolling circumference/diameter and sidewall thickness will only be slightly smaller.

If the owners manual quotes the standard tyres/wheels are suitable for snow chains then you have plenty of clearance for those tyres. Most like;y do anyway, but always good to check. David Please let me know if my comments upset you, I may wish to upset you again. |
