Leaving FF on axle stands.

Going to get the wheels powder coated.
I can't get my mitts on a spare set of wheels, so would it be ok to leave the motor on heavy duty axle stands for a couple of days?
I'm not happy about it, but I've no alternative at the moment

I would think no problems as mine was on axle stands for a couple of weeks recently when I worked on it.
I would suggest when you have got your wheels back on drive fairly slowly for a couple of minutes
for the suspension to reset itself.
Mine sorted itself out with no warning bongs so it should be ok for you as well .

It should be fine but make sure it's supported under the structural chassis and not any of the suspension components. 2017 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography

Had mine shot blasted and powder coated (all over, not just the faces) in satin black, £40 each.

Bought five goodyear tyres with delivery mileage on them from a forum member on a bike forum i belong to, taken off a brand new land rover because the owner preferred a different brand of tyre and didn't want the originals back. .

Chucked in the back of the RR.

Why? When the car is on it's wheels, it is supported on its suspension components.

I'd put the axle stands under the suspension - if you don't you're going to have to lift the car very high to remove the wheels and the suspension will be left hanging. Ron B. VK2OTC

after mine fell over last week and snapped my 3 tonne axel stands I have 6 tonnes stand firmly on the non wobbly structural chasis

I agree that having an axle stand under a roll bar or lower wishbone would be fine for changing a wheel or working on one corner for a few hours, but I wouldn't want to have all 4 corners supported that way for several days. 2017 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography
