As promised.
Take care not to let the piston fall whilst the top is removed.

The drilled top

I use an old nail to hold it on.

the ally adaptor is easy to mill to size at home with some drills, I did mine with a wood spade bit s I didn't have the right sized metal bit. The ally is soft so it will drill with pretty much any old POS drill. Thumbs Up The sprinter is the way to go its so much better than a trolley on anything other than smooth concrete, and will lift the car to an astonishing height easily.

I did manage to drill the hole for the roll pin the right size so I reused that rather than a nail, but if it works then all it has to do is hold it on in storage. Thumbs Up There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I perhaps should have added, that I bent a small kink in the nail, so that it is a tight fit.
I have never needed to remove it since I did the mod until yesterday to take the photographs.
