rear bushes

Hello all

Any hints on in-situ removing the rear lower outer suspension bush (known as the knuckle bush LRO32644)
Has a circlip on the drawing, but I imagine its well rusted in.

My usual method would be to pass a hacksaw through the bush and saw it so it can collapse in in itself, however the replacement bush looks very thick to saw through. I can heat the outer casting, but need to be careful of the CV.
Any tips or gotchas welcome

Thanks in advance

From memory the circlip will shift, regardless of rustiness, either it will fall out or disintegrate. Biggest problem for me was finding it in the first place! .

Beware : it's not a bush it's actually a ball joint - ie mainly metal, apart from the boots & maybe a thin plastic line for the ball joint.
I changed 1 side of ours yesterday, using 1 of the big "G clamp" type press tools.
Biggest challenge finding the right combination of sleeve diameters & lengths to push it out & pull the replacement in.
While it was disconnected it was very obvious the toe control arm ball joint had got play in it - which I'd failed to notice eith a pry bar with it all together. Paul,
