England 2009 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Barolo Black

I think I've sabotaged mine. Sat in the recently acquired 2009 TDV8 this morning pressing buttons and having a cup of tea and thinking this is the life: pressed an 'up' and 'down' button for the suspension and then couldn't get the switch light off - took it for a run in the village and as I reversed there was a slight 'grumbling' noise and shortly afterwards, when I switched to forward, a warning came up saying 'slow down or the suspension will lower' of something like that. Pressed the button again keeping my finger on it and now all seems good. Phew.......I'm not touching any more buttons.

If you drive above the prescribed speed for either access mode or off road mode, the vehicle will automatically revert to normal height if you don't slow down.

Nothing broken, that's how it works.

As for the graunch, did you check for squashed pizza delivery scooters after reversing?

Smile

Oil and filter Air filter pollen filter transfer box oil and both diff oils, rear diff was the worst condition oil I’ve seen from a Land Rover in my ownership! Didn’t realise the drain plugs were magnetised either!

Fuel filter and track rod ends left for the morning!

Took mine to the friendly local LR specialist to have the fuel filler neck fixed/replaced.
Unfortunately, the dreaded slow fuel filling issue occurred out of the blue last weekend; fuel backing up in the filler neck when trying to squeeze anything more than a dribble from the pump nozzle; it then taking a good few seconds to drain down into the fuel tank. Censored
It was definitely not caused by the yellow mis-fuelling widget, definitely not the pump/nozzle, and definitely not operator error. Having read some other members’ posts, it seems this was a known issue in some cars. Banging Head
