Interesting day today. I had the seals to do the leaky rear wash wipe repair in the wiki. So I set about doing it on a lovely day.

Funny. Mine's been doing that every time the sun comes out and sets the alarm off. Most annoying. I've just pulled the connection for now to stop the alarm. Will ask Dan for a new switch. Glad it's not just me. Sort of. |

DPF clear out run on the motorway slash Italian tune up combo trip. Def. seemed more responsive after, not just my imagination. Then full wash on the way back. A few others ^^ have had their polishers out so I felt at a minimum I needed some extra shine so a nice coat of carnauba wax went on, even at 9pm. Still loads of other outstandings that need attention. .

Removed the sill covers on each side. There's 7 plastic push-fit clips on the underside of each sill cover. In addition I had to loosen the screws which secure the front mudguards (a pain, they were very rusty). Then the sill covers just pull off the body (i.e. pull away from the car, with the doors open), being secured by another set of clips to the car body. Several of these white clips broke but I had new ones to hand.

Had 255 55 20 Michelins Lattitude sports fitted today. They have M+S stamped on them which surprised me. They fill out the archs a bit and are a bit quieter than my Zeros. 2015 4.4 AB
