England 2015 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Corris Grey
gearbox

I had the gearbox service done about 8k ago with genuine parts and oil. It appears to be losing drive for a couple of seconds when turning at junctions. In a straight line will go from 1st to sixth and back down again perfectly smoothly. there doesn't appear to be any leaks Does this point to incorrect oil level or something more serious? apart from the dealers does anyone know of a garage in the North East that could diagnose the issue? I will check oil level today and report back. MY 07 tdv8. 86,000 miles

Maybe worth checking that the selector cable clamp bolt isn’t seized, through corrosion, in its hole in the lever

For what it's worth I've used austrin before and they really seem to know their stuff diagnosed the transfer box fault in mine when I'd previously been told by another so called idependent they 99.9 % certain the transmission noise was the front diff and quoted £2300 for the repair , I wonder what they would have done when I picked it up and it still had the same noise Rolling Eyes Range rover 4.2 SC 06MY.
