Hi,

Looking to buy a jack for the Westie - over here I do not have the luxury of tracking down a used sprinter jack. There are plenty of probably chinese jacks around in the big diy places and online - and thinking I will get a 5T model to give some leeway.
But the question I am asking is what should be the lift range?

Not entirely scientific, but you want to get one as tall as will fit under the car and jack to more than it's own height again - ie needs a 2 stage lift.

I guess the higher the weight loading the better - as long as you can store it.
