Just looked again on a different PC and it's showing me a few more now. Strange, the only filter I could see previously was Land Rover > Range Rover > Engine Size > 5.0. David. 2002 4.6 Vogue SE - Alveston Red with Lightstone Leather 2007 Range Rover Supercharged in Java Black with Ivory Leather 2012 Range Rover 5.0 SC Autobiography in Indus Silver with Jet/Ivory Interior 2012 Range Rover 4.4 TDV8 Autobiography in Baltic Blue with Sand Interior |

Shame it has gone, but there will be others and part of the fun of getting a new car is the searching!

Yes, only a minor annoyance like you say - I would prefer to sell the Defender first so I have somewhere to park the L322 anyway... I'm in no massive rush, but I'd happily buy the right car if it came along, and find somewhere for one of them to live short term! I did check with Lookers today, and the finance did go through and the car was due for pickup. I shall keep looking [/quote] |

I went to look at this one today, which seems to be reasonable age/mileage for the price? : https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201711101137613

Easily fixed. If it ticks all other boxes I wouldn’t be concerned about that. ______________________________

Super, thank you for the feedback - will keep researching leather cleaners on here, and work out if I should buy it before I sell the Defender! |

How to fix/ maintain. I’m larger than the average bear and would like to keep my seat puffed up firm and good looking.. I tend to be quite hard on them. Bill Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc He who dies with the most toys wins... |

Interesting thread. Just returned to the fold with an 07plate 4.2 S/C. I sold my 56plate 4.2 S/C about 4yrs ago to scratch the Defender 50th itch. Recently sold that to return to FFRR, I wish I never sold it. So glad to be back.

Bill if the foam is compressed, you will need another foam. It should be good after that.

Aaron - thanks for the leather advice, and great to see someone here got the Buckingham Blue 4.2 from Lookers, from what I saw it seemed to be in brilliant condition. I hope you are enjoying it now.

Nothing untoward that I could see - they took it as a part ex a couple of months ago against a Kahn Defender, started advertising at more like £28k, but didn't sell it at that price, and now want to move it on. It only came out the official dealer network as Approved Used 2 years ago, and has been serviced by main dealers or an independent London-based LR specialist in the ~15k miles it's covered since then, and just had a fresh MOT 4 days ago. All history looked good, and overall condition of the car inside, outside and underneath seemed excellent as well. We took it for a drive and it seemed perfect, the engine and gearbox seemed very healthy. So much so that I've agreed a very good p/x on my Defender with them, a platinum warranty for 12 months, and will be picking up this S/C on Thursday evening! Having only ever owned and driven Defenders since I was 16/17, this will be very different . |
