It's either locked the wheels and slid forward or the locking pin has broken off inside the gearbox as they won't roll whilst in park. |

Don't know about in Spain, but in UK that amount of damage on that value of car would result in it being "written-off? |

you don't say what MY your FF is but mines a 2003 and just had rear bumper and drivers light cluster after is was reversed into , they repaired it even though mine had previously been a cat-C so it may well be repaired body wise but the gearbox issue may end up a nail in the coffin as the others have said , could have broken a few things in that area bud |

Thanks for the input guys, the parking pawl is working OK and the box generally seems OK, it's the hidden damage that worries me.

sorry to hear about the accident - you must have one of the only L322s in Valencia - spent 9 days teaching there in November and did not see a single one in the city! Series 2a LWB Hardtop - ex British Aerospace that was then used in an armed robbery! not by me!
