It’s interesting that the ebay item is also cracked and is on the same side as my damaged tail light. The PowerfulUK site also refers to original unit cracking, but doesn’t claim his units are less prone to cracking.

We have very harsh climate here in Oz, UV is a killer of plastics I would lean towards original, aftermarket plastics are usually prone to fading |
