Mine is going in for some work to get through the mot I blew the head gasket 4 years ago so it has been in the garden. I replaced the head gaskets in the summer and the exhaust needs a lot of TLC internally to get rid of the mould

Sure there were other parts as well - its in the garden next to my classic and the FF will prob end up there when \i change it SWmbo has told me they are not coming with us to France so I said "Going on your own are you?" that prompted an interesting reply |

Are you sure it's the windscreen? A common failure point is a seam under the top trim piece (drivers side) - it looks like the original design didn't make the panels quite big enough so they filled the gap with seam sealer that eventually breaks down and pinhole leaks form. A quick squirt of silicone sealant fixes it. Seems to be affecting a few of them now. Getting the top trim off and back on again without bending it is a bit tricky unless you take one of the pillar trims off as well. The removal procedure is in Rave, but it involves the use of a credit card. Worth a look anyway! 2010 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE |
