The radar unit is behind bumper, below the right headlight.

Forward alert not being enabled will be due to the ABS faults, not a fault with the radar unit.

I remember reading somewhere in the WM that the forward alert distance is adjustable, but can’t find it at the moment. G reg 2.5VM Vogue Portofino red 1991- 1999

Forward alert distance (actually time interval) is adjusted by holding the ACC +/- buttons whilst ACC is not enabled, but nothing to do with not being available. However perhaps Forward Alert needs to be re-enabled via the instrument cluster option if the ABS fault turned off the option. |
