Agreed, try and bleed the towel rail to see if you have air in the system. |

If you have a pump in the header tank then it can foul parts of the tank, try loosening the cap and tightening with the pump part in a slightly different rotation.

Wiggle it. The base of the pump can often move and foul it's surroundings. When I had mine I used to pull it up a little and hold it until it settled. Was always fine after a few mins and only happened in winter. Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........ |

Yes, had this on ours. The pump can be moved in the rubber washer. Loosen the cap and lift the pump slightly whilst re-tightening the cap. |
