Took mine in for rear main oil leak and cam cover oil leak to be fixed. More like oil 'weeps' than full-on leaks, but they don't resolve themselves. Expensive.

I had a slow coolant leak and it was not sounding as smooth as normal, a metallic noise that just shouldn't have been there.

Took the Fattie to our local farm shop to buy a shoulder of pork for Sunday (if you live around Southampton I cannot recommend Westlands Farm highly enough). All fascinating, I know; ANYWAY my point was these things really shift when you give them some welly, no? - this is a 4.4 TDV8. Yes, it's not a sports car but I haven't really opened the taps until today. There was no smoke or anything which is a good sign too. Would love to give the car a proper clean but it will not stop raining! Oh well I'm stuck in the kitchen anyway! |

Just got back from Cornwall, nearly a thousand miles all told, never skipped a beat, time to uncross my fingers you reckon. |

I've read that the aircon compressor/condenser fan whine might be because the system was low on gas(?).
