didn't know that the needles had to come out....some on the forum have done this type of repair so i'm sure someone will come along and advise.. ... - .- -.

I thought there is a little slotted tool to hold the shaft while the pointer is removed.

The only problem I can see with this is, how do you re-calibrate the speedo and other gauges to read correctly when you re-assemble it all.

The AK Speedo kit doesn't need the needles removing, it comes with a drill template and you drill through something instead!

i got the AK Speedo kit doesn't need the needles removing but you need patience and a steady hand

Any chance of a picture of the template? I got mine from ak a while back just not got round to stripping the dash |
