could be you have a high resistance contact in one of your connectors - the brake wear sensors are wired in series so a high resistance anywhere in the circuit will bring on the lamp |

If you google, you will find that lovely Powerfuluk guy with his piano ensemble tinkling away, telling you how to prove your brake pad sensor, and resetting etc, mine was the rear one. And you only need a paper clip.
